Susan Ananian, a certified massage therapist, advanced energy work practitioner, and reflexologist, in private practice in Midland Park, New Jersey, has worked with clients for 13 years throughout the United States providing customized sessions for people seeking to create change in their lives and those suffering from chronic pain, chronic disease, and life threatening illness. Ms. Ananian has studied extensively and provides clients with various forms of massage, such as Swedish, oncology, life threatening illness, and post-mastectomy.

In 2007, she became the first practitioner from the United States to graduate from the renowned Ensofic Ray Research Institute in Tokyo, Japan, with a certificate of Master Level Practitioner of Ensofic Ray Healing. She is certified as a Master/Teacher in Usui Reiki, Jikiden Reiki levels 1 and 2.

Ms. Ananian attended the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey and received a certificate of massage therapy with the distinction of honors. She attended the Archdiocese of Newark’s Family Life Ministries’ program in bereavement facilitation and is certified as a bereavement support group facilitator. Under the guidance of expert practitioners, she pursued studies of Cherokee bodywork and completed training in advanced reflexology. She is an alumna of Endicott College in Massachusetts.

She has been featured in national and state publications, including Dancing USA, Amateur Dancers, Garden State Woman, and The Star Ledger. Groups and classes throughout New Jersey have heard her expert instruction on the topics of reflexology, stress management, and energy anatomy.

She is an initiated Adept, Teacher and Guide under the tutelage of Gudni Gudnason, headmaster of the Rocky Mountain Mystery School, Tokyo, Japan.

Ms. Ananian has contributed her services to various charitable activities. She has participated annually in SPARK’s community events (Spirited Action, Release and Kindness), a grassroots organization consisting of holistic practitioners and volunteers from across the United States, who offered their services to the New York public following the aftermath of September 11.

She is active in several organizations and is a member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals and the New York State Reflexology Association. As a nine-year member of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO), Ms. Ananian has assumed a range of leadership positions, serving on the NJAWBO-Passaic Chapter’s board of trustees and on various committees at the state and chapter levels. In 2002, NJAWBO bestowed upon her a Teal Heart Award for outstanding service and dedication to the organization and the community.
